The Youngest artist in the world.

Onarietta lssabella Remet

For The Guinness Book Of Records

“Thirteen months ago, Lilian Remet was briskly working on her
painting oblivious of what her 18 months old  daughter,
Onarietta, was up to. A loud bawl is what set Lilian off towards
her kid, who she thought had enmeshed herself in paint. The
infuriated mother was stunned at what she saw instead.
Onarietta had steadily painted what many now say is a
stunning work of art.”

Aelita Andre

"She's just 4 years old, but an Australian artist is already being compared to abstract masters like Picasso and Pollack. Aelita Andre opened her first gallery in New York City over the weekend. She's the youngest artist to show at this Chelsea gallery and has already sold works for upwards of $30,000."

The child in you

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up?

Is being grown up pulling you back from being creative and imaginative? Has your imagination and wonderful dreams been stifled by maturity and adulthood?

Children are born creative and believe they can do anything. They have not experience the real world in front of them yet. so they live in their own world which is full of possibilities. Children has the thought that there's so much u can do and so much u can be. That’s why when they play doctors, firemen, and teachers, they all seem to be really into it and there’s nothing you can do or say to them that they are otherwise, but as we get older and mature, this ability seems to fade away. Brian Aldiss quoted, “When childhood dies, its corpses are called adults and they enter society, one of the politer names of hell. That is why we dread children, even if we love them; they show us the state of our decay.” and that “A child's world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.” (Rachel Carson)

We are taught to be logical and to make sense of thing. This can get in the way from being imaginative and your dreams. Children clearly have the advantage as what Sam Levenson says “One of the virtues of being very young is that you don't let the facts get in the way of your imagination.” Even Pablo Picasso knew this wonderful ability when he commented “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” because he knew that as child you have all the possibilities in the world in front of you and you can be anything you want and do whatever you like.

However, as you grow up every decision you make seem to put away all the possibilities in life such as choosing one career and giving up all the other possibilities as Mencius observed “The great man is he who does not lose his child's-heart.” The power of imagination might be fading as you get mature but in order to maintain it, you need to nurture and trust it with all your heart.

First, you need to learn to look at life through the eyes of a child. Rachel Carson observed that “A child's world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood.” That means you have to strip yourself out of your assumptions and things that you know. You have to approach life with a fresh mind and curiosity. Explore every possibility around you.

Always ask yourself "why not?" in any situation which you think it's impossible to handle. You will start to realize that all this time all the answer that you have been given is nothing but excuses, and all those excuses are just obstacles you have to face along the way.

Besides that, you must learn to live in the present. Jean de la Bruyere said “Children have neither past nor future; they enjoy the present, which very few of us do.” Forget the past, enjoy the present and dream of the future.

Other than that, you have to have a child-like innocence. Approach life with love, curiosity, faith, optimism and hope. The world now may be full of evil, but your world can be the brightest, fun and full of excitement if you choose to see it that way, like most of the children do. Let you imagination run wild and free, unrestricted by the realities of life.

The child in us has long been kept away. All we have to do is just to set it free. So, in the words of Gaston Bachelard, “like a forgotten fire, a childhood can always flare up again within us.” Don’t let the child in you die.

Men - Dog

Some people said Dog is Men's bestfriends,
but actually, Men is same as a dog, thats why they can be bestfriends,
they are so complicated,
sometimes they heard what you said but sometimes they just ignore it,
they can be very useful but sometimes they are not.
they can be so tamed and they can be dangerous,
they can even break someone's heart,
so girls better watch out.

Time-Happiness

As the time past by,
i can feel the sadness follow the time...
followed by anger, jealous, envy and others...
but only one, stay with me,
Happiness...
it wont go away from me,
i will stay with me forever,

So time, Stop wasting your time,
because you wont get my happiness away from me
we need each other,
we wont be apart.

Poems

Chilli = LOVE
You are like a chilli in my tomyam.
Without chilli, Tomyam has no taste.
Without you, life has no meaning.

Clock = HAPPINESS
It doesn't take a second,
to smile and jump as high as you can
It doesn't take an hour,
to cook and eat your favorite food
It doesn't take a day,
to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you
Share your happiness
Even 1 second.. is worth it

Create a passage that describe the concept of HAPPINESS based on CLOCKS.

Every second the clock ticks away, I'm happy that I'm still alive..
Every minute passed by, I'm happy that my friends are there for me..

Every hour of everyday, I'm happy that I'm loved by everyone..
Everyday of my life, I'm happy for what life has made me become who I am today.

Chilli - Love

You are my Chili,
i need you everyday,
without you, my life is tasteless...
without you, my life is so dull and boring...
you made my life spicy and exciting!

sometimes you made me cry and you hurt me,
but still, i can't stay away from you...
i can't let you go,
you so passionate and your so hot!
you are my own, one of the kind chili.

Right Brain / Left Brain: What Is It All About?

The concept of right brain and left brain thinking developed from the research in the late 1960s of an American psycho-biologist Roger W Sperry. He discovered that the human brain has two very different ways of thinking. One (the right brain) is visual and processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the whole picture then the details. The other (the left brain) is verbal and processes information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces then putting them together to get the whole. Sperry was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1981, although subsequent research has show things aren't quite as polarized as once thought (nor as simple).
I Thought Humans had Only One Brain, so Why do We Talk About Right Brain and Left Brain?
We do have only one brain, but it's got various 'bits' (see anatomy of the brain). The part of the brain that controls rational functions, the cerebral cortex, is made up of two halves. These are connected by masses of nerve fibers which allow 'messages' to pass between them. These halves are commonly called the right brain and left brain, but should more correctly be termed 'hemispheres'. For some reason, our right and left hemispheres control the 'opposite' side of our bodies, so the right hemisphere controls our left side while the left hemisphere controls the right side.
So if I'm Left-Handed, Does This Mean My Right Brain is Dominant?
No, hand dominance is not directly related to brain dominance. And, remember, just like you don't do everything with only the one hand, so your brain doesn't do everything with one side, although there is generally a preference. However, a significant number of artists have been and are left-handed, more than would be suggested by the one-in-ten occurrence of left-handedness in the population. While those who are left handed do exhibit a greater propensity for right-brain dominance, being right handed does not preclude your right brain from dominating.
How is the Right Brain / Left Brain Concept Relevant to Artists?
When you start a painting, you need be able to to visualize the final painting in your mind (right brain, working from the whole), then develop the painting, choosing the elements, matching and mixing colors, placing in the shadows and highlights (right brain, working on various things simultaneously), but at the same time be able to look critically at what you've doing (left brain, being analytical). By finding out whether your thinking is dominated by your right or left brain, you can then deliberately set out to use the 'right brain' way of thinking in your painting or drawing, rather than working on 'auto-pilot'. By trying a different strategy you will probably be surprised by what different results you can produce.
What are the Characteristics of Right Brain and Left Brain Thinking?
This table sets out the characteristics of right brain and left brain thinking. This quiz will tell you which side dominates your thinking (or whether you've a balance between the two).
Is it Better to be Right Brained than Left Brained?
Though right-brain or non-verbal thinking is often regarded as more 'creative', there is no right or wrong here; it's merely two different ways of thinking. One is not better than the other, just as being right-handed is not 'superior' to being left-handed. What's important is to be aware that there are different ways of thinking, knowing what your natural preference is, and if it's strongly verbal (left brain) rather than visual (right brain) being open to trying new approaches which deliberately approach painting or drawing in a right-brain way.
Why do I Keep Hearing About Betty Edwards and Her Book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain"?
In 1980 Betty Edwards published the first edition of her book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, which applied the concepts of right and left brain to learning to draw. She put forward techniques whereby you can consciously access the right side of the brain when drawing, which helps you draw or paint what you see rather than what you know. It's become a classic and helped many people who believed they were incapable of drawing.

Our Point of View

AZAH AZURA
This article is about A simple explanation of right / left brain theory and a very different ways of thinking. Some of the people said that Hand's have something to do with Creative, my opinion, i don't agree with that statement. It is because i have a friend, and he left-handed. Some say that left-handed are Creative but he can't even draw.
We cant choose to be Creative or Thinker, its the thing that we cant change because we already got it since we were born or maybe its just from our genes. There's no good or bad things if you dominant to only right-brain or left-brain.
